Certainty Advice for SMEs

Enjoying a long weekend up the coast – even though the ocean is still a shady brown from this week’s rain and the beach littered by swollen rivers, mother nature is bouncing back.

This week saw a big focus on how Certainty Advice firms are adapting and using Certainty Advice with their growing bases of small to medium enterprise firms (SMEs).

Last Friday’s successful Certainty Advice Workshop shared many insights, experiences and fee models on how Certainty Advice firms are successfully tackling larger client cases and in particularly how they are leveraging their third party experts not only in accounting, estate planning and risk management, but also connecting their client niches to builders, architects, fitness trainers, and home buyer agents. Training financial services team members in project management skills, particularly in areas of project scope control were some of the issues we will continue to explore and refine.  Here’s a link to my summary of last week’s session.

Next Monday’s (29th March 11:30am Sydney Summer Time) Roundtable will continue these discussions as I’ve asked two firms (Travis Martin from Monument Advisory in West Perth, Jarad Stirling from Stirling Consulting from Caringbah in Sydney) to share their approach to managing the essential third party experts when advice work expands into project management. Here’s a link to the Roundtable registration if you are interested in attending.

NEW EVENTS PAGE

After a couple of false starts, I’m hoping to at last have all our upcoming events, workshops, roundtables, webinars in one area on our website. Alongside the NEWS button will be an EVENTS button with details of upcoming sessions, who it is intended for and what will be covered. Always eager to obtain any feedback from you as to have better we can help you or your team get that quick answer to any aspect of your Certainty Advice implementation.

Have a great week…

Jim
