Is the price academy for me?

The Price Academy is not for everyone.

It is not for accountants, financial advisers and financial planners or any advisory team delivering principal advice who seek to simply ‘tweak’ existing hourly rate or ‘funds-under-management’ based pricing models.

These pricing models are far too susceptible to the uncontrollable factors of product, markets and technology. As a result, we do not recommend them for comprehensive advisory teams; they contribute to high dependency and unsustainable workloads for key advisers.

The Price Academy is for firms offering comprehensive financial advice who are committed to pricing advice based on the value clients experience, rather than the inputs an advisory team provides.

We believe this is the only basis for valuable advisory relationships.

Attendees qualify for the Price Academy if their role involves skills engaging, managing, pricing support, and advising clients.

Senior advisers, advisers, associate advisers, client support, paraplanners, client management and similar roles with day-to-day client contact will all benefit by attending.

Fees allow for two participants per firm.

What is the difference between the live training and the virtual training sessions?

The live and virtual (via Zoom) sessions cover the same curriculum, and are both delivered over three days.

The live session offers additional benefits.

The third day welcomes the broad community of Certainty advisory teams as they update on latest Certainty Advice developments, share their breakthroughs, and join panels discussing latest business and advice development initiatives to build better advice relationships, and grow stronger firms that provide more valuable advice to more Australians.

The live session also offers invitations to group dinners to grow the community and facilitate in depth of discussions on important and not-so-important topics.

What is included in the Price Academy?

The Price Academy provides a lot.

The most valuable framework is the client discovery tool – The Certainty Map. This tool reduces adviser dependency, increases team productivity, captures significant client value and complexities that require money or advice or planning, and positions client value (not product performance or adviser effort) at the centre of every advisory relationship.

Other tools provided articule forward paths (Certainty Advisers are remunerated to keep clients on paths rather than in products) to keep the client’s life on a single page (we call it a Map), and the many precedents (all proven) to engage the many different varieties of client types.

The Price Academy includes the Certainty Flows to fast-track the development of workflows, the agendas for client and advisory team meetings, the frameworks for client meetings and effective pricing committees.

The most valuable element of the Price Academy is the introduction to a broad range of participants from the Certainty Advice community of firms. They all perform different roles, all building similar but uniquely different firms for different clients.

Price Academy provides post-session 30-day (we can extend it if proves to be of value) access to our Monday morning Certainty Advice community Roundtables, all self-paced learning materials, workshops on specific pricing, engagement and discovery skills and more.

Every tool, except Certainty Maps, are provided in easy editable soft copies for ease of customisation, branding and implementation post Academy.

Our Objective: Valuable advice for 80% of Australians…

Certainty Advice Group specialises in building advisory firms of the future. We do this by leveraging the insights, learnings, tools and experiences of firms who share a similar objective – delivering comprehensive financial advice purely priced upon the best interests of clients without any real or perceived conflict – we refer to it as the Certainty Advice approach.
Our workshops are intensive, workshop-style events, rather than lecture-style. This maximises participation and return on time in attendance.  Since our first adviser workshop in 1989 our objective has remained the same – to make valuable advice more accessible for more Australians – our target is 80%. This will only be achieved by a new era of advisory firms focused on delivering value. Certainty Advice is a proven advice platform to deliver valuable non-conflicted advice.
